Be yourself. What level are you currently at KPMG?
I do appreciate your responses D1, but unfortunately I’m just not finding them helpful. Thank you though.
Remember to look at the camera and try to move your eyes around a little. If you look at the screen you look like you are looking away. Try to make sure your camera is front and centre. Don’t have the camera pointed up your nose. Connect with a friend to make sure that the space around you is clean, angle is good, etc.
Clean up the area around you, using the automatic backgrounds isn’t always perfects and leaves artificats. Clean up your physical space and keep it clear. If your desk is clear, great. Also if you are using a wireless keyboard or mouse make sure that the batteries etc are charged. You don’t need a low battery alert to throw you off your game.
I don’t know your gender so tailor this advice accordingly, but dress in a full suit. Don’t just wear a good top and sweatpants. Had a humorous event where a member of leadership wore a suit top but then got up and was still wearing their PJs.
E1 this is helpful, thank you. During my initial interview with hiring manager, he was wearing a T-shirt and I was wearing shirt/slacks/jacket, so I’ll probably go with that instead of full suit. Although the PJs could be the lucky charm I need...
Have you done a panel interview as well? I’m curious what the dynamics are... e.g does each person just take turns asking questions or should I expect rapid fire follow up questions and constant probing and changing topics. I’m preparing for the latter but curious what others’ experiences were like.
