After interview, assuming you get an offer, it should be quick, within a couple days. Then background check, etc. Then they have to find an open seat at experienced hire and advisory training. When I interviewed in early July there was an open spot at August and September training, but that's something your EY recruiter will work with you on.
Sr764@scarletmail.rutgers.edu. I'll answer all that is needed to answer. Can throw on recommendation too
That's where I work, but what specifically do you want to know?
What do you guys do? Is there a lot of traveling involved? Is the interview technical?
EY1 thank you. I will email you.
I mostly do IT controls testing to support financial audits and also SOC reporting but there are other groups in RA too. Some travel is required but depends on clients and office, I've heard anywhere from 10-60%.
Campus interview requires case study, but my experienced hire interview was mostly just friendly conversation and me getting my questions answered. If you make it to in-person interview, they are interested in hiring you and will probably be trying to impress you, at least that was my experience.
Omg thank you. How long is the process? I want to travel in August, and I need to plan accordingly.
I have a master in MIS but I've never done any IT Audit. I only have experience in financial statement audit, did some SOX and SOC 1 testing but that's about it. What kind of questions should I expect at the interview?
What level are you? I didn't have any technical questions, but did display some knowledge of ITGCs and SOC reports. Maybe Google the basic categories of IT controls so you can chat about them at a high level though.
Hahahaha I'm a senior.
Thank you
