Isn’t it interesting how you get treated differently once you go from being a company’s revenue generator to an expense?
Yep. I went to industry and then boomeranged back to public after 1 year.
I talked to a recruiter who didn’t have any remote positions (due to pandemic) available, I think it’s definitely weird that accounting is going into the office. It makes me feel like the companies that are requiring that don’t care about their employees (excluding situations where it’s necessary).
They are weird. Also curious which part of the country you are in cause I feel like that impacts level of wfh.
I feel like half the people in Florida think Covid is a joke or a hoax. This is why I'm glad I don't live in places like this.
I’m still in public, but yeah, I have clients who seem to always be in the office when we have calls with them.
Half of the office has had covid and no one seems to care or think anyone wrong is happening. I tried to go a few days a week and my boss was never wearing a mask and I decided it’s not worth it
It depends on what returning office protacal they have in place. Some companies require you to get tested in advance before you go in.
New employees are tested but that’s it. If you get exposed at the office they give you the option to go get tested and they will pay for it but it’s not required.
I'm in private. The whole company has been wfh since March last year, excluding warehouse and certain engineering employees
I’m in private, I was not asked to work in the office if I am not comfortable.
