Anyone else feel like this past week was totally unproductive? I spent the whole time trying to get stuff done and every time I made some progress something would get in the way. So I ended the week essentially where I started

Had to get a quote revised 3 times because the vendor kept making different errors

Then QA refused to act until Monday…

We were far too productive. I guess they decided we are recharged after the holiday so should each be doing the work of two people. It was non-stop and my brain was NOT prepared for that. I am still in holiday mode 😂

I guess so, what’s gonna be the kicker is I’ve escalated these issues because if we don’t get the quote in soon we’ll be up a creek

These same dummies are going to blow a gasket next week “why isn’t it done!?!?!” At least I have written proof that they are the issue 🤷🏻‍♂️

There was a lot of running around in circles. Addressing things that got missed before the break. It was productive if you count getting to where we should have been last week.

Yes! A lot of these urgent deadlines were already addressed before the break, but everyone is acting like it came out of nowhere.

My first week back was not a gradual return whatsoever. It was very busy and productive but I prefer that over having nothing to do

I have been approached by 3 separate HR people at a startup company to interview for a position. I already have a fulltime job that pays well and I only started 6 months ago too. Anyways, the pay was intriguing and the job was a high level scientific advisor so I did interviews. At the last interview, at the end I was told the job was for management but I prepared for a different kind of interview. I am waiting for an offer or rejection letter. I feel peeved that they wasted my time. Red flags?
