No regrets. Moved here from Midwest 4 years ago. Yes, housing and such are pricey. But have adjusted lifestyle and would trade it for anything. I have lived out East and in Texas too before. Best place I know of in US, where there are actually jobs and things to do.
That’s very true!
San Diego is the absolute best
I do love it here, just wish it was more affordable :/. I’ve seen some posts of people leaving SD for that reason despite really loving it here.
The only reason I regret moving to San Diego now is two things. The housing market is ridiculously expensive and the salaries don’t match the cost of living. They pay “a livable wage” which in most cases isn’t livable by any stretch of the imagination.
Yes, this is my biggest frustration. I work remotely so it’s tough to not consider other areas with lower cost of living.
No regrets! Just hope I can actually afford to buy a house one day 🙃
Lol that’s actually the only reason for my regret. Love this place but not sure if I could ever buy a home :/
San Diego, Coronado, El Cajon, and La Jolla were all places I lived.
I moved to Florida to save money, but I despise my life and regret everything. If I could go back, I would.
I’m so sorry. That what I fear as well.
SD is the best how can anyone regret lol. The only thing we can all agree and complain about is the pricing here but hey it is san diego 🥴
True!
I moved here from Vermont decades ago. Zero regrets. It’s definitely an aspirational lifestyle but if you can make it here you can make it anywhere.
