I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

1. We were told SM will be starting in FY19, but does the mid year announcement change that?
2. If youâre already an M3, are you eligible for SM2 next year (since theyâre getting rid of M3 cohort)?
3. In the rare case that you get promoted from M to D next year, do you jump straight to D2 (because I heard SM2 will be replacing D1 cohort)?
4. Whatâre the utilization/sales target for SM?
That sounds like a great set of questions to pose to your RP and report back. Unfortunately, just like when cohorts went into place I am sure the partners all have a different interpretation. If you are up for promotion I would push hard and make sure that this new admin change doesnât delay your promotion. And Iâm not trying to be a dick, those really are great questions.
This simply what I've heard, so take it with a grain salt.
1. TBD - they might cap the midyear promotions at a certain level like M (similar to Assurance)
2. Yes, in theory, but not going to be automatic. Similar to when the cohorts were first introduced they will go through person by person and slot them, while also considering the target pyramid
3. No. D1 will still exist.
4. SM will be focused on delivery, not sales so no sales target and hence utilization goal closer to M than D
