Anyone ever take a pay cut to eventually come out ahead? I’ve been at Director (big 4) for 10 years and have been told I just don’t have what it takes to progress. Unfortunately, it seems like I can only make lateral comp moves at best. Anyone ever jump out to industry or even a smaller firm for less money and feel better off in the end?
