Hi - I have donations given to Team Everest for Nov 2021 with receipt. But IBM AskHR says no support for donations tax exemption on Form 16. Thus, the donation isn't deducted on my Form 16. Can I now update the donation directly on E-filing.gov u/s 80G for exemption or will that cause an issue ? IBM

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Ummm, er, because their consulting practice is the size of a 5 year old's bladder?
Software vendor services are mindless configurations and troubleshooting technical issues. Consulting firms bring value add including strategic solutions, program/project management, etc.
One of my friend joined them a year ago. Very happy with culture, pay. Got promoted also within a year. I haven't heard anything negative from him.
We consulted for them and one of their stats is a 75% turnover...within the year half of the original client project team was gone or their seniority was at 2 years max...
thank you guys for the replies - D1, friend did the same and they love it. One of my best friends constantly harps on the fact that they're typically not the black
I would recommend working for Salesforce, but not within their PSO group. FANTASTIC culture (I've been on two great projects with them in SF) but PSO delivers too low of margins for these large software companies. They exist because they have to, not because they are particularly awesome at it

A3-I clean up software vendor messes for a living
Software vendors don't actually want to be in the services business. They'd rather be making something and have a business partner do their dirty work.
I worked there and had a very positive experience. Echo the sentiment about people and culture. Will certainly depend on function/role/team (and agree with comments about PSO) they have a fair bit of recovering consultants (MBB/Big 4) throughout the company in various departments
Worked there. Shitty people promoted to managers.
