I got dinged from them, but tips from my peers:
- Know your application inside and out. Be prepared to answer “why” for anything you list there. It is YOUR application, so you should know best.
- Understand the recent and future trends in your industry. What is making the news? What disrupters are out there?
- Expect to be cut off since they rapid fire questions to try and apply pressure. If you maintain a calm facade, then you should be ok.

Definitely connect with the HBS AlumniChat for insights - mine helped a lot.
- First question she asked was “what did you have to give up to get where you are today” .. and all questions became harder and harder (requiring much introspection)
- Was asked a lot about my resume and experience
- Was asked in the end about what I wanted to talk about that was not discussed
- Cut off exactly at 30-minute mark
- Interview does not flow well as questions jump from one to the other
