As a new hire or already at the firm? As others have said, if you're already at the firm, not much movement potential.
As a new hire, though, you can generally negotiate the different tiers. At least, that's the case at the other firms I've worked for, I assume it's the same at PwC.
Thank you!
Trying not to burn bridges here. I’m considering all options including trying to tee up the salary expectation discussion way before annual review. I want to emphasize that there are 4 positions at my level that need to be filled (they are having trouble doing so) and we are way overstretched.

PwC has cohorts, you cant negotiate your cohort pay. What you can do is skip cohorts. Instead of Senior 1,2,3-> manager, you can do Senior 1,2-> Manager
Yeah this is pretty much the answer here. You know where you can go and the salaries based on cohort. You move over a letter or you move up a level. Other than that it’s rating and bonus % or a retention bonus they may offer you (one time, 2 year staying clause).
..raise. I have a number in mind that is more like a 15% raise and my team is desperately hiring and Business is booming. I have an outsized contribution to the relatively small team. I feel as tho if I was interviewing I’d get an offer much higher than where I’m at today. How can I use their need for staff and my high performance as leverage to meet a reasonable salary goal?
As an ex leader in the Big 4, no. It is pretty set with very few exceptions.
Thank you so much for your input! It confirms my understanding generally and helps me temper my own feelings about it being personal.
Hi Can you please share the salary range for associate/consultant with 2 years of experience?
