Who thinks Betsey should resign?🙋♂️
Hello Fishes,
I need a suggestion.
Does Manual Testing profile getting salaries above 17LPA.
With 6.8 YOE I have resigned recently on 13.68lpa and 1.25JB offer.
But not getting any calls and if I get any no response from them.
Is there any manual tester with 7-8 yoe switched recently please help me with this?

“XR glasses.” Essentially a wearable monitor shrunk down to the size of sunglasses. Gives you enough screen real estate to get work done and keeps everything confidential.
Equipment-aside, commute time is a good time to ramp up and down. Admin tasks/process emails; bullet-point drafts of documents; recording hours, etc. I treat is as “uninterrupted” time, but not “deep-thinking” time.
What’s that?
If you can work from the laptop, do it. If you cannot (motion sickness, not enough space, whatever the reason), handle personal matters like cleaning email, reading a book, etc. I personally try to schedule calls that don’t require me to do much other than pay attention/maybe take some light notes.
Following. Good question.
I have a similar commute. It depends on the day. Most days I nap or read a book. Lots of days I’m triaging emails and figuring out my to do lists beginning of/end of day. Occasionally I’ll pull out my laptop or have printed documents to review. Commuter rail makes it easy to work.
I do time entries, review documents in printout, email responses, or just take a nap.
Sounds silly but does anyone use a portable pop up desk? I wish I was taking Amtrak with the desk but it’s commuter rail.
I have a feeling you meant 1.25 hours. But anyway, I listen to music, talk to friends/family, watch training videos, or respond to emails.
Spend the time being productive for yourself. Read/listen to books which will help you develop soft skills. Learn a hobby. Learn a language. That time is a gift to yourself, don’t feel like you need to give it to the firm.
Well that’s a different ball of wax entirely. I’m in the same toddler boat, so those suggestions are reflections of the fantasy of time I wish I had! One thing I’m doing is setting rules in my inbox to push low/no priority emails to a folder that I can review when I have time. Instead of seeing them as they come in through the day and having them pull me out of focus. If you get a lot of internal fyi type emails or news you could push off to read later, the commute could be a good option for that type of stuff.
Buy a great set of noise cancelling headphones. Listen to either brown noise or pink noise (as opposed to white noise. One of those is better for concentration, and I can’t remember which).
Take mental movies of moments with your kids to cherish and replay in your head. It’s trite and cliche, but man is that time fleeting.
