As a Houstonian, it definitely depends on your work location, how much time you’re will to spend in traffic and what part of town you want to hang out in when not working…..
Rising Star
Heights definately. Alexian Junction looks nice
they are making you sign an extremely long lease term for it, and their apartment quality overall is not up to par, refer to alexan memorial reviews (their sister property built before junction)
This Apartment is by the Intersection of Katy Fwy and 8 Beltway. A lot of Amenities as well.
Used to live in an apt down the street from 2929. Nice area, we lived there 3 years, however not a ton in the way of nightlife. You’d be surrounded by older folks/families.
Do yourself a favor and go with the heights!
Also check out HAR for rentals other than appts. You’ll find some good deals I’m sure. It’s pretty common to rent a little bungalow in the heights instead of going into one of the appt buildings. If you need to work downtown? Check out appts near white oak. That’s a great street to live near,
Heights
I live at the Windsor memorial. I prefer high rises because of the build quality and honestly I’ve had a pretty good time here. Basically between Heights and Montrose, so a great location.
Awesome, thanks for the recs!
what’s your rental budget? there’s a few high rises you could look into a few of those options if you’re looking at regent sq. referring to windsor, hanover, etc
We will in a townhouse off of Weslayn and Law street. Great quiet neighborhood it’s 10 mins from everything
