Company A: Offer letter coming in tomorrow, speaking with HR.

It's not an industry I'm interested in, and want to get away from, but my prev exp is related to it (financial). Team is supportive. HM is very persistent in getting me to join.

So far, only offer.

Had final rounds for companies B+C yesterday, waiting to hear back.

& How do you ask for a week's time? I do have final rounds next Wed for company D.

What level should I apply to if I’m a manager at B4? Considering applying

on the way to an interview this morning eating a sandwich. I walked past a homeless man who had a stray cat perched on his lap. He asked for a bite of sandwich to feed them both as they hadn’t eaten in days. I gave the whole sandwich over and headed off to the interview. As I got to the interview room there was a large executive chair facing away from me. The chair turned and on top was a mirror. When looking in the mirror I could see the cat. I am the cat. Truly inspirational when you work hard

I had an initial interview on Wednesday. About an hour later, I got a call from an internal recruiter from the same company wanting to follow up and see how the interview went. I didn’t see the voicemail until the following morning when I was at work and called her back that afternoon when I was out of work. I still haven’t heard from her. Is this normal? Should I not try calling back again? I’ve been at my job for several years, so I am unfamiliar with how I should handle a situation like this.

Three job interviews with a company, last one creating a marketing plan and presenting to marketing VP. I received good feedback from him. Three days later recruiter wants to give me a call and “give an update”. Schedules it after 2 days. This morning cancels last minute as they are having “internal discussions”. There is an opportunity that I’m currently interviewing for that is very interesting to me. I’m interviewing two other places but I’m not responding to LinkedIn emails for other positions. The other positions don’t interest me as much. On one hand I don’t want to waste time prepping for all positions and rather put that time only for the ones that I have going on, on the other hand I feel like what is that falls through. I’m looking for a new job and have found that small companies send me rejections quickly and the huge companies are the only ones giving me a chance. I thought it would be the other way around. I really just want a new job and I think I’ll have more luck passing the interviews for smaller companies than the big ones. Any recommendations on how to make myself more appealing to smaller companies? Thank you I need a new job ASAP :(
