Anyone here relocate for a tech job and then realize the salary looked much better before converting it to the local cost of living? I recently moved from Bangalore to Toronto on a work visa making about 115k CAD, which sounded great during the hiring process. Now that I’m paying Toronto rent and taxes it doesn’t feel nearly as comfortable as expected. For people who moved countries for work, how long did it take before your finances actually felt stable?

I recently had two interviews with a director and a manager for Sr. associate role (DS&AI) at PwC. And then, I was asked to interview with another director. All in all, the interviews went well. But I haven’t heard back anything yet! The directors told me that they are in dire need of people and are hiring like crazy! With the current hits to the stock market, and a serious recession outlook, is PwC still gonna hire people ? If I were given an offer, is it a good idea to join the firm ?

I joined nagarro in July,22 and my first salary credited in aug,after that i was able to declare flexi and tax components ,then my second salary credited for sep month and it was very less ,bcoz of flexi declaration.but when i calculate declared flexi amount is ~25k ,as per nagarro it is tax saving component which you can claim later.but I am still not understanding why my executive allowance is very less this time from which ,i got in august 112000 and in sep it is ~21k in payslp

Had an interview with Hexaware and 3 days back HR1 called me and said she will send the offer letter next week. 2 days back HR2 called me and said a client interview is scheduled for you and I attended that. Now if I fail to clear the client interview round, will I not receive the offer letter that is promised by the HR1?
