Got an offer from google this week for a L4 PgM role in SF, 5 YOE. Can you help evaluate this? I haven’t negotiated yet, this was the initial offer that the recruiter shared.

Bonus: 15% (22.5k)

TC: 240,250

Test Engineer - Mountain View location - L4 - 155k base , 15%bonus, total $260k stocks vested 25% at end of year- Am I lowballed and whats best for 6 years experience?

Is it normal for a smaller firm (less than 100 attys) to expect biglaw level hours without the pay? Current first year who has been at my first job since September, making $85k. My firm’s billable requirements aren’t super high at 1900, but the partner I work for has told me that she’d like me to bill 2200.I know there’d tons of ppl in BL billing close to 3k but I feel like this is way too much for my current pay. My salary is the same as other associates who are expected to just bill 1900

hi guys! i wanted to ask for advice if anyone can help. currently i’m a scientist at a CRO and i’m doing work that is at least a title or two above mine. feels like im overworked and underpaid. i keep getting rejected to positions i feel like i can fill due to my years of experience. i technically only have been working since may 2020. but i have learned so much so quickly, im already doing method development/discovery work. should i settle for a job title below my current in pharma?

My contract is ending 12/31/22 and can’t be extended legally according to our CFO. Worked in various increasingly responsible roles at the same organization as a FT employee in IT for 17 years and then took a buyout and chilled doing side gigs for 18 months then came back as temporary contract staff for the last 3.8 years as Business Analyst and Technical Writer. Anyone have slow months where you burn through a lot of your allotted pro bono/professional development hours to keep hitting minimum daily hours? The past few weeks have been like this for me. Should I be concerned (I.e., will this reflect poorly on me, come review time? Will I have dug myself too much of a hole if I keep burning my non-billable hours?) I’ve been asking partners if I can assist in any projects so I can fill my plate, but I’ve only gotten small (4-6 hour) tasks handed my way.
