My bank just sent out an email today stating that they will be delaying the return to office until late October. Thank goodness, more time to find another fully remote role..lolol
I mean the date we tentatively had was Labor Day, right? And they even seemed to walk that back a bit.
I’d say no worries. Particularly if you want to work from home, I don’t think anyone will resist your request if you frame it logically. (E.g. my productivity is great, I have children who can’t get vaccinated, and my client work is not on-site so minimal benefit from the additional risk and time investment)
We’ve not yet returned to the office, I haven’t heard we’re expected to. Given schools will likely need to quarantine, etc. it will likely need to remain flexible for the foreseeable future.
No one knows what’s going on lol.
I was told by leadership in Va. Deloitte that we are returning on the 7th of Sept that date has not yet been moved
White & Case DC pushed back until first week of October.
This has shown there can be no, single, unitary policy across the firm. It varies by practice, by project, by location, and even by individual.
