Just talk to all the EPIC people. I got into tech and business when my hours were cut during Covid after a very poorly organized and delivered situation. I went onto LinkedIn and saw what others were doing and what credentials they had, then went after my own. I got lean certified and became an EPIC physician builder analyst. I also an completing my MBA in healthcare analytics online. I’ve been very patient and decided that I would not take a position because I was unhappy and I would not settle. I recently accepted an offer as an advisor for PA/NP profession (significant pay raise, same benefits) There are lots of jobs in healthcare data and reimbursement if you can start getting into that. Also more clinical informatic jobs are opening, there is also the possibility of transitioning to EPIC analyst. You just have to keep going and figure it out.
What do you do as an advisor? Is it related to Epic or reimbursement related with documentation?
