Anyone moved from consulting to audit? Or have an idea on how to move?

Hi folks, I am looking for help with a career pivot. I am currently a startup founder looking to get into an early-stage high-growth tech startup in London and would love to guidance on where to start.

My current startup, although we have seen some success has not found the momentum required. I would love to take all of the energy and skills I have acquired to help grow another interesting high-growth startup, ideally under 10 people that would give me skin in the game. Where to start?

For anyone who’s taken / passed the CFE, is it worth paying for the full exam prep course or would studying the fraud examiners manual suffice?

I’m an Environmental Protection Specialist and make pretty good money for what I do. I just feel like I have more to offer than being a worker bee in a system at 25. I work with a lot of retirees and would love to return in my latter professional years. I have my Bachelors in Applied Coastal Environmental Science and want to expand my options. Hi Everyone,
I need your views and suggestions. I have two doubts:
1. Is it fair to leave an organisation (big brand) after a year as the environment is real toxic and there’s no career growth as well in terms of good work.
2. If I have to make a switch do I really have to target big brands only or can try for medium and small size companies too.

I just left my pre-seed startup that was running out of cash (we made $100,000 in revenue this year, and sunk $1m in costs). I was making $40,000 as a developer (plus 20k stock options at $1/share per year) and they refused to pay me any more money. I have 17,000 vested stock options, total number of shares at the time of my contract was 4million.
