Anyone please confirm the how variable compensation pay (which generally 10% of ctc) to the associate (no target plan), is this paying every month or yearly?

Curious how compensation works for counsel at top-tier law firms. How much do counsel make? Is it relatively set/lockstep salary, or does it vary significantly based on hours? Do counsel have hours requirements?

So, can he get the performance bonus because he served the last whole year with dedication?

I've accepted the salary breakup today from TCS and HR told me they will send salary for approval and once it approve they will send me an offer letter. Generally how many days we get the offer letter and joining date after after acceptence of salary breakup ?

I am going to move in the next few month to a location with a higher cost of living due to personal circumstances. I love my current company but I’ve only been here a little over a month, how should I go about requesting if it’s possible to get a salary increase? What do you do when you feel the goalpost has been/is being moved re: billable requirements? Like there's a spoken vs unspoken? I chose this job based on billables vs salary and what I'm being told I'm expected to do now is 20-30% (at least) > than what was initially agreed upon. Given my other life responsibilities, this is creating a huge strain & I feel like this is slowly getting harder & harder on my spouse & kids. I'm grateful to have lots of good work but not sure how to course correct.

I think I read about some kind of process where when an applicant reaches out to a current student or alum for a 1:1 and makes a good impression, the student/alum can send a message to the adcom letting them know? Stupid Question- We have been thinking for IVF and trying to understand with this process, is there any difference in the health and life of the child as compared to a child born without IVF.
