Come on, put more energy into fixing the PIP rather than trying to gain the system to your advantage. If you are one of the people who genuinely needs short-term disability, you haven’t explained that here… If you aren’t one of those people, then you’re making the system harder for those that do need.

Disability leave at most companies require a good amount of paperwork along with doctor’s note and so on. Assuming you have a legit reason (and it’s not extending your last date ), your leave may get approved. But you will still get laid off once PIP duration is completed and your goals are not met.

The responses here don't make any sense. How many ppl have you guys legitimately seen ppl been given fair PIPs and able to pass PIPs?
