I don't think they're a huge employer so you might have some difficulty finding anyone who works there. Have you checked the Glassdoor reviews? they might be able to provide a little bit of insight.
I worked there a while back. I quit. It was originally a small advertising company. Then they grew into a streaming platform where they can use that advertising technology.
Once it grew a lot of people who lacked leadership skills were promoted. It's called the Peter Principle.
Tubi is led by a bunch of morons who have worked there for a long time but don't have a clue what to do. They're lucky that they are profitable, but it's not because of the talent working there.
And when they do hire talented people, they shut them down because they are used to their current ways and won't change. That doesn't even begin to speak towards the sexism, lack of diversity, and how minorities are often seen as lesser than in the office.
When in a room with a woman presenting as the expert in the room, a man can just interrupt and make a decision despite being on the same level as her and not an expert.
At one point all the women in the product team left Tubi. Their diversity numbers are a joke. Their "we care about our employees" attitude is a lie. And people barely take PTO and when they do, managers stress them out because they never planned proper coverage.
It's a very BS company. Farhad is a smart business man, but isn't good at having a non-toxic work culure. All his C-level managers are not social or personable.
Also, I forgot to mentioned they are now owned by Fox.
I would not recommend working here. It's not the worst place to work, but it's absolutely draining.
I second Glassdoor. You can also check Indeed, try to connect with employees on LinkedIn, etc.
It is a smaller company and I have a friend who works there and loves it. She said the culture is great and she loves the people she works with. Hope this helps.
Curious as well, Glassdoor reviews are a bit scattered and with the Fox acquisition I wonder what's changed in the past year or so.
