Applied for a position in Wells Fargo , Got interviewed for two rounds and no response post the interviews. It's been a month , tried contacting them via Call / Email no reply here as well. Does it mean rejected?

Interviewed for a GS-15 (same agency but different office) and totally aced the interview with excellent answers. They know I’m a top performer with senior references. However I noticed there was an internal candidate who has been there for few years and interviewed that’s a veteran. I feel my chances just sank and want to gauge thoughts.

Recruiters, is it frowned upon for candidates to reach out to you on DM on Linkedin? Or does it show that they’re more interested than just submitting an application?
