Applied for a role at BGSW in 21st Aug, Cleared Technical round, GRM round and F2F HR Discussion round at Adugodi office. HR round was on 13th Sept. Was supposed to get an offer from them by last Friday, but apparently their Onboarding portal is going through some issues/upgradation and they are having to send out offers manually. Wanted to know whether this is normal and has this ever happened before?

I am product designer with a fair amount of experience (6yrs).

Recently was interviewed for a Sr. role in Booking but unfortunately the team finds me better suited as a core individual contributor.

I am also in the advanced stages of some lead designer positions in other companies.

However I am really interested in joining the team at Booking, especially because of the design culture.

What should be my reasons to accept or not accept the offer from booking?

I have a brokerage account with 7k in it, split 70% VOO 30% SCHF. I now have an additional 11k I can add - how should I allocate it? Do you think you and your significant other should have similar personalities? My significant other and I are doing long distance and I feel like when I FaceTime with him, I emote more and show interest by asking more questions but from his end, he doesn’t always have a reaction or just nods, and it makes me feel like he’s uninterested. On his end he sees it as he’s comfortable.

Now manager is asking me to relocate to Blore for few months to get trained from teammates.
