Why are you leaving A&M?
Got it.
Don't bet on relocation for non-campus hires at/below manager level. GT is moving to a more location flexible model, so proximity to any office or airport might suffice.
TC for manager varies by practice within advisory. Assume a 5% bonus to be conservative. Base may be 140-200k, depending on skillset and degrees earned.
Former GT here, left in 2018. First year Manager at that point made $155K, very small bonus not very competitive IMO. Now at ACN: $190K base $50K sign on, 10-12% performance bonus
I’d say that you need to take in consideration the organization as a whole not just the compensation. GT and ACN are in very different trajectories in terms of growth. ACN has explosive growth, doing relevant and interesting tech work, publicly, in other words your opportunities for career growth are great. Don’t think you can get that at GT
