Over the last couple of months I’ve interviewed for a number of jobs and made it to second and third round interviews but never got an offer. My last interview was on Monday and I got feedback that I did not get selected because it did not seem like I was a a team player. Just got the call from a recruiter that they won’t be moving forward with my application after reviewing my take-home writing assignment. I was very proud of what I submitted, and know it was great quality and up to industry standards given I review/write this type of document quite frequently. They gave me good feedback on it, and I have it in the back of my mind that they are using applicants from consulting as free labor. Anyone else feel this way about interview take-home assignments??
