I feel like there are like 5 people on this app who can answer this question...
Salary - why would you accept less than current? Preferably much more if it's really a COO position.
Bonus/ options/ equity - why would you accept less than current on a risk adjusted basis. These things are very risky in a startup. The COO of Facebook owns like 5% of the company and she joined after it was already valued at > $10B. Why would you accept less than 5%?
Probably can get a sense looking at angel list
If it’s really about money take what you are you worth, what is the company is probably worth on a risk adjusted basis, and then find where you reasonably need to sit on the cap table to get that number
What stage? Series B or before I would expect less than 200k in base. At exec level you have negotiating power for equity. Salary leveling up to true market doesn’t really happen until late series B and beyond
Are you pre or post MBA?
Salary not less than current. 5-10% if seed stage. 5 % min is series A.
Is this pure tech startup or tech enabled startup?
1. Salary: You get a salary for work. I’m not sure what to expect as COO of this company but it would very much so depend on how large revenues are and how large they are expected to grow
2. Stock / options: Ownership in the company. Personally, this is what I would want the most of. It will depend on how large the team already is and how much of it is owned by the VC firms. I would want much more of this, this is what will be the most valuable if this is a great business
3. Bonus: This is usually set by the VCs or board which will depend on the performance of the company (I.e. revenue growth, or some other important metric). Bonus can be either cash or stock. Again, I always want stock because that will grow much more in the future if the start up is a good business

Yeah you should probably be answering your own questions in that rarified VC startup atmosphere
If you are asking, how are you qualified to be a COO?
