Are case interviews the norm for lateral moves from one consulting firm to another?

Left a B4 to work at a boutique for more money. In beginning it was good and kept me busy and engaged. Now it is the exact opposite (I know there are ebbs and flows). Getting depressed and wondering if I made a mistake leaving a B4 for money. I don’t feel like the firm I’m at is going to help my career and I might’ve screwed myself over. Tried applying for positions at other B4 but no luck. Not sure if I should ride it out or try harder to jump ship. Any advice is appreciated

Anyone else ever interview for roles outside of, but connected to, what you do at your agency, and realise that basically everywhere outside of an advertising agency seems to value you more? 😂

I am currently working as a paralegal in a small/mid sized firm where compensation as far as salary is limited. Recently I have decided to leave and have started doing initial interviews with very large firms. When the question of compensation always comes up of course I want to say the highest number possible. Is this a turn off? Should I try to be more realistic in the number that I give or shoot for the stars?

I had my interview for fullstack java senior consultant yesterday in Deloitte.
I had one round completed.
If anyone is aware of how many rounds will be there and by when should I expect them to call back for further rounds.
