This is a load of BS. The exit opps are so similar. Top PE might be the exception, but that doesn’t matter if you don’t care about it.

In between. Harder to get top exits (Disney Corp strat, FAANG PM), and some are totally off limits (top PE). Same league in general though.
Very different from big4 still, though of course I’m biased
Nowhere near MBB. Closer to T2/B4

EYP probably a legit tier 2, but many will still think of you as a big 4 accounting person.
Booz btw is not in the same league as the others in terms of exit opportunities, which is why they are able to slow roll their people for so long.

What are you smoking OP? S& is on top of the T2 group. BAH is not the booz that was bought and renamed to S&
I'd put EY-P and S& firmly in T2, along with ATK, OW, and LEK. I don't think that's a hot take. Would not put BAH there until they pay more and win cross offers
IMO, exit differences between T2 and MBB are down to micro factors more than macro factors. I know plenty of friends who have exited to successful startups, VC, PE, B Schools, strategy teams, etc.
That said, your average MBB candidate will be stronger than your average T2 candidate - this is evident by the fact that your T2 candidate almost certainly did not get an MBB offer

BAH is mostly a government shop...
There are recruiters who are looking for specifically McK or BCG. Depends what you want to do.
They look for some experience/casework in their industry
Same experience office to office but you naturally have offices/regions that tend to have more work in certain industries because geographically that’s where the client is. I.e., more financial services cases in NY and more oil & gas in Houston
