Anyone knows what M2A cohort salary is for tier3 city? Really curious and considering options
First year M&A associate. I never came into big law wanting /expecting to gun or make partner, and first year pretty much confirmed that. I'm more than happy to leave for in house in 4-6 years and live a much more chill life. Knowing this, what is the best way to max out the $'s? I'm thinking of considering auto-lateral at year 2/3 and again at 4/5 just for the signing bonus (I know things may change and maybe I wouldn't do it if I loved my firm or got an in house job), but is this viable?
What’s the average salary of Senior Associate in highest band in Management consulting? In Finance effectiveness team
Any advice? I’m relocating to the Houston Tx. area and have been looking for Hr generalist jobs. I’ve been applying for a few weeks now for positions ranging from entry lvl to senior lvl and have yet to get an interview or a follow up. Wondering if I’m being impatient and this is a standard timeline? 🤔

Have spent years building my career and moved to Canada 2 yrs back. Have changed my job once already to join big 4 but i am not happy at all, work is very demanding, people seems to be leaving all the time, managing clients and expectations and on top of that working with a couple very rude people….. i have spent a decade in taxes but never felt such burn out and intolerance for rude people… not sure if i am not suitable for job in Canada or just having really bad time for last few months.
