Hi C1, Great questions. Deloitte employees can work from any office regardless of home office assignments. (I am not sure if this applies to the US Delivery Center talent model.) Coach assignments are based on the Practice not home office. (This may not apply to the US Delivery Center talent model.) Team members can be from anywhere - especially now.

Gotcha. Regarding coaches, can I presume that we would not necessarily be from the same group within a practice (e.g., System Engineering within CBO)?

What are your home office must haves? I lateraled to a new firm that is giving me a $500 stipend for home office equipment, furniture, supplies, etc. But I can't use the stipend for anything they have already provided me (keyboard, mouse, dock, monitor). I do plan on getting a printer. Any other ideas?

Is it worth driving 1hour+ each way for free childcare twice per week? We are having trouble finding a quality nanny for two days (we have a great nanny on other two days). Rather than continuing to pay big $$$ for inconsistent and unreliable care, it thinking of driving to my dads house to let him take the kids while I work from his home office. May be problematic if Both me and my husband are needed in the office. Do you think it’s a good idea? Will save me $260 per day / $520 per week

Screen sharing with an ultrawide / 4K monitor - what’s everyone’s experience like? In the past I tried to screen share with a 1440p monitor and people would complain my screen was too small so I have a secondary 1080p monitor that use exclusively for screen sharing. I’d love to move to either an ultrawide or just upgrade the 1080p monitor to a 4K one but am worried I’ll have the same issues it appearing small on the other persons end. Anyone have any suggestions?

So I need chair recommendations. I have a $40 chair from target and being on it for 14+ hours a day is pretty much killing me. I don’t have space for a standing desk tbh and my flat feet make it hard to stand for longer periods of time. If anyone has good recommendations hopefully under $400, i would highly appreciate it!
