I am considering coming into an Analyst role at A&C GPS. I have 1+ years relevant consulting experience and was promoted to Senior Analyst at Accenture. Will this be considered for promotion to consultant at Deloitte a year after start?
If I need to wait two years to make consultant at D I would just stay at Accenture and apply to a consultant role once I qualify.

I started QA at the company I am currently at 3 years ago. Long story short, within 4 months at the company, I was able to make a career change and step into a PM position. Without having the formal education or PM experience, only my 5 years in QA experience. When I started I made $65k and have jumped to $78k. I have seen other companies post $100k+. Friend of mine was supposed to receive an offer (told verbally) from Deloitte and then just found out they are pausing on hiring the role. How common is that? Seems wildly unprofessional that none of the partners called and instead it was the recruiter conveying that news. At McKinsey, if that happened, the head of the practice or the office would personally make the phone call at the very least.
