I’m trying to stay positive but I am just so burnt out right now. I thought working at an agency in planning was going to be a dream role closer to strategy, but I’m less and less motivated every day because of the hours and the lack of opportunity outside of in the weeds, niche tasks. I worry about how my output will be if I don’t find a role I enjoy more with more of a WLB. Has anyone else fallen out of love with media planning, and if so where did you go?

Our MD said it was great to see a new team member playing such an important role. I replied bla bla. They then talked about how they world set up time to talk about my future on the project. For context I’m a campus hire 3months in on a tech implementation. I don’t see myself on this project long term doent align with my end goals. Should I express

Raise your hands if you value sleep over spending an extra +/- 30 minutes to get ready in the AM. Rock the natural look ladies (and gentlemen)!
I'm a first year and just received a raise, even though I haven't been at the firm for a year yet. It's a great amount, and I'm so thankful. The partners told me in person but I'm just wondering if I should ask them to put it in writing, just to confirm it and in case anything happens down the road? If I learned anything as an attorney, it's to always have everything in writing lol
How does helping win pitches factor into how you negotiate for a raise? For example, do you put a number on it? If so, how do you calculate that?
Hi Fishers, I am looking for a role in supply planning at Accenture. There are some good opportunities too on their website. But is there anyone who can refer me to these roles? Need someone who can help get me feedback on the job application.
So this might be a better place to post this and ask this question: Uncle D has announced explicitly that most people won’t get a pay raise & bonus this year except for those promoted and high performers. Amid this crisis, are companies including other big 3, MBB, FAANG, boutique consulting firms still giving high raises and issue stocks? Can you share the impact from your firm?
Promotion effective two weeks from now on 7/1, too early to change your job title on LinkedIn?
Been here almost a year now at L2 and was an manager equivalent before coming here. I feel like I have 0 insight into what I need to be doing to get promoted? I’m getting mostly 1s, but don’t feel like I have actionable “do X and demonstrate Y and then you can be put up for promotion”. Any advice?
Anyone in KPMG FDD want to refer me for an experience associate position in San Fran?!? Would like to connect before to go over some items as well.
When your service line sends out the period update and it shows that we're consistently 20% below plan....guess I won't be counting on a decent raise next year 😑

Got to final round at McKinsey in January this year, didn't get an offer but got added to the Keep in Touch list, and the recruiter said I got good feedback but to wait a year before applying again. I started at Deloitte in October; if I decide to go for McKinsey again, is it weird to reach out again in January next year (having only worked for a few months at my current job), or should I go for it?
Nothing like crashing on your home bed! No fancy hotel bed can ever compare to that feeling!
