Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

Think of it this way, who might the team ask to get an idea of your performance? If your manager or director are those people, let them know.
My director and I don’t get along and haven’t since day 1 and he has warned me to not think I can switch teams. I been here less than 6 months
If you’re an employee at the firm and apply internally to a position, the first people HR reach out to are your RL and Coach (to ask about your story/performance). There is no way to keep the firm out of the loop when applying at the firm.
My director and I don’t get along and haven’t since day 1 and he has warned me to not think I can switch teams. I been here less than 6 months. They have made it clear they would rather have me let go rather than switch teams. At my first job I was a top performer in operations but wanted to switch to sales & marketing, So my manager found found some small thing like I don’t take good notes and put me on a PIP and forced me out if I didn’t resign. I have been traumatized since to never consider switching departments
Shouldn’t telling them be a first step in this? I would think having them on your side helping you would be the best way to go about this. You definitely don’t want to blindside them and risk them being upset with how they found out when you need them to advocate for you.

If you apply in workday I have clicked the apply confidentially before and my RL didn’t know about my new job until I told them about it.
I played around with workday but didn’t see the “apply confidentially” button anywhere
I’ve heard that as soon as you apply to a job internally via Workday, your HR Manager gets notified. I would suggest talking to them before you start applying and tell them you want to keep it confidential and not tell anyone in the group until a certain point.
Yeah. It’s ridiculous. If you don’t get the job or even an interview, your group knows you are looking and likely will start treating you as if you have one foot out the door.
It used to be anonymous and they changed about a year ago. Previously, you didn’t have to disclose internally, now you are required to with your HR person or coach/RL.
Oh wow that sux. Looks like I will just get pushed out
