Anyone wanna refer me to KPMG or EY? Lol
Pacifica (SFO hanging out in the back), SFO-LAX

Recently had Flighty recommended to me on the App store. I've used it the last couple of flights for clients and the updates have been a huge time saver. It can also map out all the flights you've ever taken. Pretty cool seeing how many miles I've done across all airlines. Also kind of sad to see how many DAYS I've spent stuck on a plane flying to a client site.
Definitely recommend checking it out: www.flightyapp.com/

Associate Dr at 28, Director at 32, with much advocating and fighting. Age ain’t nothing but a number, but if you want to get promoted at a reasonable timeframe in this industry you got to leave
Took me til age 35 for associate and another 4 years to director even though I’d been performing the role for 2 years. Depends on the place, but if you feel like you should be promoted and colleagues in that associate/director role agree, don’t wait around. Ask for what you want for and if you don’t get it start looking. The world is your oyster right now.
Senior Manager and then Director both at 30, but I had to jump agencies to make it happen. Agree with CD1 - if you’re already performing at that level, advocate for yourself. If that doesn’t work, make a move :) There’s no better time than now.
Associate Director at 28 and I’m at the same level now at 31. I think I’m going to pivot careers prior to becoming a Director 😬 I dont think the added stress and responsiblity is worth the minimal pay bump for me personally.
Rising Star
I made AD after 3 YOE (I was 31), and D after 5 YOE.
I worked outside of advertising for the first 6 years of my professional life
was promoted early to AD at 27, most of my peers that are late 20s-mid 30s at the same level, at my previous agency directors were all pushing late 30s if not older
