I’m 12 years in and still don’t feel like an expert in anything.

There’s a very strong negative correlation between those who call themselves experts on LinkedIn and how much expertise they have actually gathered.
The less you think about what you may not know, the more you think you actually do know :)

It goes back to that adage: “Show me don’t tell me.” The only thing worse than “expert” is “guru.” Just put your portfolio front and center and let it do the talking.
