There can be 100 people in the room, and 99 don’t believe you...
This is not special to advertising this is called life
My first step was to stop considering my sex life a business.
I get my joy from having the ideas. I accept they won’t all live and if they do they probably won’t live as I conceived them. I think of my job as trying to solve problems not selling those solutions all the time.
Someone I know said that he simply collects “no”s, with the thinking that if he can gather 99 of them, he’ll be rewarded with a “yes”. With each “no”, he felt one step closer. That seemed like a brilliantly optimistic way to approach a world full of rejection.
I find it in that 101th time I ask and I'm told yes.
Then I hold on to it tighter than the Scranton Strangler for the next 100 no's.
You Marie Kondo the hell out of it.
Listen and learn. It’s much more joyful to bring an idea to life that’s not entirely your own.
Love the process
No I hate it but these are the skills I've developed so I guess I'm fucked because I'll be damned if I'm going to make any less money. (Selling out intensifies)
Double negatives 😎
That’s just the world buddy
For the record, I’m not asking for advice. I’m just curious what other people do to keep themselves sane.
