Will switching from kpmg into industry before I apply for MBA hurt me? I'll m considering a role in IT risk but I don't want my resume to look weak when I apply to b-scbool

Hi all, I have been in my present workplace for 3 years and I know I am underpaid as per present market standards.

Want to find out how much would be a realistic quote to ask for if I switch irrespective of the present salary.

Can someone throw some light on what is the expected salary for a data/business analyst profile with 5 years experience as per market standards.

Experience: SQL, Python (basic modelling). Have some experience with BI tools and Adobe Analytics.

I am a Reliability Maintenance 3P contractor for Amazon. I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering on June 2022. I’ve been working with Amazon for a year, but there’s a lack of prospective EE positions within the company. The job postings I see are either less or barely above my current salary. Comforting others:
When someone tells me bad news regarding their health, I say everything I am supposed to say (I’m sorry to hear that, I’m here for you, etc) EXCEPT “everything is going to be ok”. How many years into the partnership do you hit 7 figures? On an average.

T3 firm reached out re: direct admit to the partnership with some runway to grow the practice. I am at a firm now where there aren’t bright line metrics to make PPMD, but think I could make it in 2-5 years. This would be a step down in brand, but might be better from a WLB and getting to start at partner. Haven’t had firm comp talks yet but range was well north of 50% increase in cash comp from current (plus LT equity, draws, etc). Anyone take $ over brand? what are some traps to watch for?
