Sounds like a great opportunity. If only it were remote. Regardless, I am going to send you a connect on LinkedIn.

Partner stopped by to round up ppl for happy hour. He commented that I looked stressed and said my male colleague looked pensive (he actually looked like he was freaking out). Being me, I commented on the stressed / pensive distinction. What steps have you taken, if any, on your image / brand so you don't look stressed, less confident etc?

After the final interview with the MD for a manager role how long does it take them to get back with an offer ? The suspense is killing me !

How successful have you been in negotiating salary upon a job offer? For background, Blackrock and Citi offered me a job but salary is about the same of what I currently get at GS...

I have been applying to jobs nonstop and honestly feel so disheartened. I have my MBA with a healthcare management concentration and I even had my resume professionally done. I have almost 4 years total healthcare experience with the last almost 2-2 1/2 years in management. I am ready for a change and looking for a remote job, preferably in healthcare/project/program management. I am even open to entry level healthcare IT. Would appreciate any help!

I have offers from capgemini for 11lpa (fixed pay) and hexaware with 13.5lpa (variable pay). Which one will be better in terms of work life balance. My YOE is 4.2

Anyone quit their job without another job lined up? Considering this option and luckily smart with savings so not an issue financially for at least a year. But curious to hear others thoughts? I hate what I’m doing and it’s just not worth waking up everyday filled with dread and stress anymore. Tried applying to jobs but running low on steam and just need a reset to really figure out what I want to do next.

Question for you guys. In a bit of a career path conundrum. Would you rather work alone as an FA at Edward Jones or join a team with Ameriprise? For some context I’m 27 years old with about 60M AUM at EDJ. I’ve been offered to join a team with 500M (2 of the 3 partners are retiring and transitioning out within the next 3-5 years). For the long term I’m thinking Ameriprise would be the better option but I could always just stay at EDJ where I’m comfortable and continue growing my book. Thoughts ?

Let’s talk book ethics. How d’you feel about creatives adding work to their portfolio that they have only touched in a very minor way (made a banner, joined a brainstorm, helped on an activation etc)?

I wonder how coronavirus is impacting applicants in Asia. Normally schools send adcom to major cities to conduct interviews. Are those all going to be Skype interviews for R2?
