So I’m very conflicted right now. I’ve been working for a small business for over a year and a half now with only me and the owner running the shop, but it’s mostly been me working until 7 most nights. The couple has been super nice, but with life events happening, I needed to pick up a second and third job. I eventually asked for a raise but was told no and that I would need to teach classes to do so. I have some job interviews lined up but I feel guilty doing it. Should I feel as bad as I do?

I️ originally told him my range was 85-95 for a remote role & this position is completely onsite. I️ told him I️ had to calculate how much it would cost Bc the commute is about an hour.
