I got a call from HR and offer discussion was over couple of weeks back and still waiting for them to send me final mail to release offer. May I know if they take this much time to release offer, when I did a follow up call after 10 days they said they are waiting for some approval to release offer.

Dear fishes, After working in Autosar(CAN/FR/OS) configuration for 4 years, I wanted to switch domain to device drivers. So I bought a STM board. Joined some udemy courses. Learnt SPI/I2C/NVIC/exception handling and FREERTOS/OS. Now I want to apply to companies like Nvidia Texas Instruments Qualcomm NXP Without any prior experience I am a bit nervous as people say the interviews would be very difficult in these.
Please help with embedded and prog ques for these interviews.

Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months.It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup.In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much.But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

Just started here and gotta say I’m really loving the Bain vibe. Lots of fun people and events all the time to keep fun and friendship in the office.
Definitely there is local work in dfw, but we staff as Texas so you can easily get a project in Austin or Houston as well. Meaning you have access to banking, healthcare, tech, oil , cpg and a bunch of other industries. And you can always do PEG.
I was at big4 before and enjoyed their culture but Bain is a next level on if you want friends at work and to hang out with after work. At least at the lower levels

I was ghosted by a recruiter at Bain before even setting up an interview. Never answered any of my emails following up on when to set up an interview. I was really looking forward to the interview because I heard great things about the company and it’s culture.
It’s a highly prestigious international firm, so you’ll get what you expect (long hours, high pay, hard to get into, pretty intense work-friend culture).
Projects more likely to be local or within Texas than at BCG or McK.
