I'd start with a convo with your CM and Sr A about a role change to Sr consultant, and combine that with a request for where you fall out on the band for your job profile. Sprinkle in a little bit about your LCAT, where you feel you bring value, and magic is likely to happen.
Comparing with folks on FB based on a couple years out of school with a Master's really won't get you there. It'll just make you feel less than, especially on here where there's a dick measuring contest every other day.
All depends on how much you're worth. I know plenty with a Master's who aren't worth the paper the degree is printed on. If you're worth more than 62k, go get it.

In my personal experience, leadership at BAH had little/no sympathy for a convo like this; basically they knew I’d asked HR for info before I came into a discussion with my sr assoc/dir equivalent and she folded her arms and said, there’s not gonna be some kind of adjustment after you’re already hired at BAH. Lesson learned on my end was to pay more attn to cost of living in D.C. (to avoid future convos of a similar nature ie holy shit $70k sounded fine but wow rent is $$$$$) and also to negotiate harder before accepting a position in future. Best of luck. My only remedy was to jump ship after about 3 yrs and hold out for a “market adjustment” type of increase
Prob in the 60s as a gmc or 75-85 as a technical role. However, top ~40% of ppl get promoted in a year, I’d expect the same for a masters grad. SC is where I’d assume you get up to market (72-90). My range is large bc of factors such as market you serve (commercial, health,
Defense, etc) and role (tech, strat, mc, specialty, contracting)
If you’re at the Pentagon, I’d assume you’re also cleared? At 62k, you’re underpaid regardless of what the Masters is in. You likely qualify (the firm) for different (see higher rate) LCATs by having a Masters. That means, there’s plenty of wiggle room to bring you salary up to snuff. Need to know more about nature if the work and degrees and certs you have to give a realistic #. Go on Glassdoor and do some research of your own
Talk to your CM. I was hired out of undergrad in defense group making more than 10k above that, in a SC role. You just have to make a strong case for yourself

Sheesh, I’m 2 years out of undergrad and making 85k before benefits/bonus. Federal pay sucks
Also to be fair, outside of an MBA, most firms consider masters degrees as not much better than a undergrad degree
