Banks does it, it’s art. You do it, you get sued by Swiffer.
I prefer this quote.

Very good
It’s the same Fight Club narrative on advertising just in long form. About 15 years late and overused.
It’s from 15 years ago.
Is this new? Or something he shared some time ago.
I saw this a long time ago
According to his talk he won’t be mad when I made some knock off banksy art and sell it for absurd prices on wish.com or alibaba.com.
Is Banksy really John Lyndon?
The typo in the first sentence has always really distracted me in this quote; it should be "every day", not "everyday".
Also, I have always looked at Banksy's work and assumed that he used to work in advertising. His creativity follows the same formulas as ours.
You know, he makes some good points.
I should make an effort to feel a bit more sexy and it couldn’t hurt to look for fun activities outside of my own neighborhood.
And this one’s a touchy subject, but my gf could also use a little motivation.
We’ve both been in a bit of a rut.
I’m actually grateful he’s giving it to me straight instead of leering from tall buildings and laughing behind my back like you other rude bastards.

Hates the business and the majority of his work uses the the same “reveal” formula as an ad.
He was an art director. No question.
Banksy is emotive. Punk rock populism. I’m too old to use the term edge lord and I don’t spend time on 4chan, 8chan nor play RPGs but I get why younger folks characterise Banksy as such.
I’m aligned with the feelings especially given that a lot of what we make it purposely culturally derivative.
He sounds bitter. You want free TV, radio, internet sites, then ads it is!
Love the sentiment behind it. Shading actual people who do the work in order to survive in this capitalist world… not so much.
Please don’t take this comment as pro socialism or whatever as I don’t support that either
