I’m in denial
I spoke with a friend who is one of the decision makers on the new branding. She asked what I thought. I'm not a sugar coater so I told her, it's bold in the wrong direction. It feels old because clients want more for less. They want smaller shoots, smaller budgets, more results. To declare you do BIG things makes you look big and out of touch.
She quickly defended it as creativity focused not money focused and we haven't spoke since.
I think they Kool Aid there is really strong.
