Be honest, do you tip on to-go orders when you’re the guest? I’ve been in the industry over 10 years and I still go back and forth. I know someone’s bagging the order, checking everything, running around to make sure it’s right… but there’s no table service, no refills, no interaction. Sometimes I tip $2, sometimes 10%, sometimes nothing. What do you think is fair when someone’s just handling a pickup order?

Been forever since I’ve had an order to go. Truthfully, and now feeling like a terrible person, I never considered tipping. If there’s a jar or something, I’ll put in a few bucks if I have some on me, but that’s the only time it even crosses my mind when just popping in real quick to grab food.

I tend to tip a few bucks if it's a place I regularly get take out from.

I usually get DoorDash these days and I do leave the suggested tip on there, sometimes more, but when I'm the one going to the store to pick it up, I wouldn't leave a tip honestly. I've worked in those positions, bagging to-gos, and I got tipped out by the servers and bartenders at the end of the night anyway.

I always tip whatever the minimum is. I know I shouldn't feel obligated to do it, but I do because I know the people bagging up those orders can use the extra money.

As someone who prepares to-go orders made through the restaurant website or through DoorDash, I don’t take it personally if someone doesn’t tip. You should however be tipping the delivery person if your DoorDash orders are being delivered to you. It’s a nice thing to be tipped a couple bucks for to go orders but I don’t judge.

Highly Technical Market Sell-Off - Though, it has picked up over lunch and I suspect that short term turn is in near. Old floortrader told me once, never trust a market that is making new session highs or lows during lunch. That's not normal. This might not be a normal day; but we do need to rebound to get another opportunity into the short trend. So, count on it. The last draw is more suspect as it hasn't been proven to exist yet. So, we will see how we look when we trade 9855.75 on NQ.

Hi I was just offered a CM Manager position at Evelance aka Anthem with moderate salary 100k with 10% bonus. I was previously making 110k with 10%. Recruiter said probably would not match my previous salary and I would have to justify why I want more that job offer. Has anyone ever experienced this?

Hi, been stuck in the contract analysis/review cycle. I have asked a few recruiters how to make a lateral move into in-house. They told me to focus on contract management, which I have been doing for the past year. Now that I have, are there any sites besides “jobscan” that I can use to make sure my resume fits the job descriptions? Does anybody know any recruiters that could help me, as well?

I work as an AGM in a busy restaurant. Been working there for just over a year, and haven't had a single raise. I now only make 0.50 cents more than even the lowest paid shift lead but I am doing a lot more work. I'm no longer satisfied with these conditions. Should I try to negotiate a raise or look for other opportunities?

If I should negotiate, any tips?

So I work as an assistant manager at a restaurant for the past 9 months. I've worked in restaurants for the past 6 years science I was 16. Now I'm 22. I went to a trade school for media and film. I got a dream opportunity to work in the field making about the same or 10% more. I told myself the only reason I'd leave this company is for this type of job. Should I take the chance at this job and leave the restaurant that is on the rise and growing?
