Hi everyone! Does anyone in here work for Omada Health ? I have an interview next Wednesday for a PT Member Support Agent role and am unclear on what the pay could be. Glassdoor has the pay estimate at 42k-48k, but I found a comment where someone in the same role mentioned only getting paid $12/hr. I have 8 years of experience as a CSR but I’ve had a couple year gap in between now and my last job. TIA Any advice helps .

Based on the angle of the photos I think machine learning will struggle with a 100% pattern match, it’s missing his forehead measurement. My guess is they’ll get something like 60,000 matches greater than 80% probability. If it were me I would use it as like a filter narrowing it down to high probability suspects, unique backpack, credit cards, cell towers can assist. But AI makes a great story, even if the tech has been around for years.
This is correct, facial recognition struggles unless the parameters are almost perfect.
Human oversight and multiple verification methods are still crucial for high-stakes identification scenarios. Relying solely on AI for critical identification tasks based on low-quality images is concerning but I'm sure they wouldn't let that alone be their guiding light. There's no way.
This is exactly right.
Honestly I have doubt but I’m all for exploratory technology
What is your doubt?
Poor evidence will be destroyed in court
Correct
A considerable number of January 6th rioters were identified with the help of facial recognition software. And some of that was done by amateur sleuths. A reporter for NBC even wrote a book about it called Sedition Hunters. Now, the images weren't used as evidence in court, but they were valuable clues to locate the person. Once located, the FBI executed search warrants and found their phone data and other evidence, and that would be enough to convict them (or have the plead guilty, which about 700 of them did).
But that was in a place with great lighting and multiple cameras, this is a very different scenario
I would not give much weight to that news source. Plus no court will convict with just a forehead, AI or not. Police has access to much more than just the forehead, if it is in fact true that they have a partial photo while in a hotel. Fingerprints likely.
