I enjoyed Grosvenor House. It is across the street from Hyde Park, around the corner from the Oxford St shopping and walking distance to Buckingham Palace. Very close to several Tube stations as well.
Most importantly, the lounge is unbelievable

like

Yes, amazing lounge. Really enjoyed afternoon tea.

The Steakhouse is pretty good too and they have a nice outdoor patio where you can have lunch if the weather is nice.

I JUST got back from staying at the county hall hotel and it was great! Centrally located and, at least for us, we were using Waterloo station a lot which was right around the corner. I wish I was still there! Lol

The Editon London is great. So are the JW Marriott Grosvenor House and the Park Tower Knightsbridge (a Marriott property I think).

Not a Marriott but I also love The Lanesborough.

Stayed at the JW Marriott earlier this year and we really enjoyed it.

My favorite is still Mandarin Oriental in Hyde Park.

I’m also at risk to develop complications. Not sure if I should talk to HR. Not even sure if I should ask for accommodations to continue being able to wfh at least most days of the week to reduce risk. Idkkkk 😩This is so unprecedented. I always wear my mask at work. Is this new job DOA? I’ve been in my new role 6 weeks after interviewing extensively and getting 5 offers and thinking back on those offers I turned down. I picked this company bc I liked their product and the manager, but I’m already feeling 1. REALLY silo-ed . Not a collaborative environment (even though I’m perfectly capable of doing my own thing.)Like I have entire days I don’t talk to anyone 2. Can’t seem to get my boss’s attention on my priorities that truly should be huge company issues

I texted my boss on WhatsApp regarding my absence from office for two days. He said he didn't receive the message and he has marked the mail to hr asking explanation. I replied to the mail with the screenshot of the particular message and he is denying he hasn't received it. Can anyone advise what can be done to safeguard myself? #hrhelp
