Throw them under the train
I left my old firm because of that kind of stuff. I like the work but the people suck sometimes
You’re not gonna change anybody, just get out
Take them out. (Figuratively) I made my whole office realize that the person who was bullying me was the toxic person. So everyone hated her. Then I bounced. That person lied through her teeth about pretty much everything, making bogus claims about people complaining about me (I verified this with the alleged complainers), and more. So I feel no guilt blowing up her career and moving to a better firm. :)
For example, they set up a meeting and 5 minutes before the meeting is supposed to end, they email me saying they’re dialing in. Then they tell the manager that I’m the one who missed the meeting. I send over the email where he said he was dialing in 5 minutes before the meeting is supposed to end and the manager just makes excuses for him saying he was working on something else. The manager states he said he was only late 15 mins but I send the email clearly evidencing he was 30 mins late and they still make excuses for him. It’s becoming incredibly toxic working with these types of people.
It sounds like a case of “who you know” instead of “what you know”

I had worked on a brand new client (first year audit) and also a brand new industry for me. I consulted one of the manager for all the procedures I was going to take and she did not have any problems with them. I also asked her suggestions but she did not have any. Partners turned out thinking the procedures were insufficient so I needed to go back and asked for more documents, and then she (the manager) started to blame me for not following her guidances which caused us more time to finish testing. Hello? I would for sure follow the guidances if there are any :/. I didn’t say anything tho because she told that to partners privately and one of the manager heard that and asked me what happened.
Outperforming them.
Haha or the manager that says “yes, I’ll take care of those wp/notes” and then the next call manager doesn’t “recall” that it was in their plate
Run them over
