Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

At ATK, there is definitely pressure to perform, but I would not say it’s competitive. Very supportive peers with relatively uniform comp between low and high performers (probably 10-15% difference in total take-home). Never felt like I was competing for pay or promotion.
At higher levels, it does get more political but that is to be expected.
Last, we do have up-or-out, but it seems to be a bit softer than other firms with some wiggle room, e.g. 2.5 years from associate to manager is our “out” cutoff, but if we think you’re close the firm will push the timeline (have personally seen this).
I would assume depends more on a given project or group that a firm as a whole.
Happy to refer you to PwC if needed.
Probably not consulting. While I wouldn’t say we compete with each other, everybody drives pretty hard. Competing to outdo themselves.
That's true. Open to leaving consulting as well.
