FirstKey Homes has a lot of open roles across many functions. Single Family rental platform for Cerberus Capital. Better than Multifamily! Dm me if you would like to learn more
Acq, PM, and AM are the three roles when you’re doing direct investing. Also, if you work at a bigger shop, you’ll probably be segmented to a particular asset class - MF, Industrial, Office, retail/alternative assets. Everyone early in their career goes for acquisitions because it’s sexy and they can wrap their head around what the role entails. While acquisitions is a great way to get started in the industry, the WLB is definitely the worst and you deal with the most inflated egos. Also, a lot more competition at the analyst level. AM probably has the best work life balance. In my opinion, PM is the best of both worlds and most applicable to IB experience. Feel free to message me directly. Work at a larger shop and can direct you to some open positions depending on what market you’re in.
Acq = Acquisition
AM = Asset Mgt
PM = Portfolio Management
For some clarity, my IB experience is MM sell-side and cap raising for mainly tech and telecom
Following!
