Pre-tax 401(k) or after-tax...thoughts?
I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers
I have some doubt regarding pf contribution... Say for example.. 12% of my base salary is 600 which gets deducted from my salary.. on the flip side.. the company has to contribute 600 to my pf (which is actually deducted from my salary only like already part of CTC)?. So my question again is that.. the company contributes 600 as well? PwC

Try and make up for lost shots less frequently. If you hit one out or in the water, instead of playing aggressively, play safe and take the bogey - better than the risk of losing another and taking a triple.
How do you usually blow up? Is it a wayward drive and you struggle to scramble? Do you lose strokes arounds the greens (multiple chips / 3+ putts)? A little context and I can shoot some advice...
Agreed with D1, context would help a bit. Something that really helped me was on holes I have a history of playing poorly, instead of focusing on the negative that could happen, commit to every shot. I can sleep easier knowing I pulled the club and swung aggressively as opposed to a tentative swing where I’m trying to avoid disaster.
Don’t be a hero. For example, when I hit driver into the trees I’ve stopped trying to pull off the miracle bubba hook through a small window to get on in 2. Now I find a line where I can advance the ball up the fairway with minimal risk and then give myself a chance to get on in 3 from a clean open lie. If I make the put for par, great. Worst case I walk away with a 2-put bogey.
