Long post alert; I have been interviewing with a b4 for a senior con role since Mar end. Cleared all the rounds including case study and got strong rating as well as good feedback. Fast forward to last week, the talent POC calls me up and informs that she has asked the business if the position is still open, because now they just need the business approval to roll out the offer. I immediately felt demotivated as to ‘why now’ after all rounds have been cleared (continued in the comment below)

Mulling over an offer. Is work at MBB way more work / significantly more intense than Big 4? I feel like I have a good brand/rep at EY; not sure if effort to rebuild all of that at MBB is worth it?

consulting to industry or move to another big 4 firm?

Is senior manager level in an investment bank(RBC ) lower than manager level in big 4? If yes , which title will be same to manager level in a big 4?

Is it recommended to get two full years of consulting experience before looking for a move elsewhere...for more comp (say to another Big 4, industry, attempt at MBB or FAANG)? Already have 8 yoe in the DoD space outside of consulting. And about 16 months of consulting exp

Is it hard to get into Salesforce? Big 4 consultant with 10 yoe, mostly in ERP/CRM implementation and program/project management, have Salesforce Admin cert but not much hands on experience due to mostly management exp, looking into Director TPM roles - should I apply? Question: I have a client who started a restaurant. He leased the land and bought shipping containers where he spent money contracting out to turn them into bars. I’m having a tough time determining how to depreciate this! First thought was leasehold but he’s not making improvements to a structure...he owns the structure! But nonresidential real estate at 27.5 years doesn’t make sense either as it’s not a brick and mortar building. Curious on others thoughts! TIA
